Inderkum High School is in the Natomas Unified School District and is an authorized IB World School for both its Diploma Programme and its Middle Years Programme (MYP) in partnership with Natomas Middle School. Inderkum High School uses AVID concepts and approaches, along with a positive, inclusive Culture of Resilience, to implement an International Baccalaureate educational framework. IB Higher Level and Standard Level courses and Advanced Placement (AP) classes provide access at IHS for college-level curriculum. Dual-enrollment courses are also available to IHS students through a shared facility with the Natomas Center of American River College, including through the unique IHS California Early College Academy (CECA), which uses the AVID program to help students meet college readiness requirements.
Additionally, Inderkum High School offers Career Technical Education opportunities through an on-site Broadcast Media CTE pathway and an on-site Public Safety CTE pathway (in partnership with the Sacramento Police Department and Fire Department), as well as Bike Tech CTE courses. Inderkum students have access to NUSD CTE pathways in construction and cosmetology. To connect students on campus, Inderkum High School engages students through athletics, visual and performing arts, student activities, and Tiger traditions, including the award-winning Tiger Marching Band and sports programs. Further, a Wellness Team of counselors, social workers, and school psychologists offers guidance and social-emotional support for students at IHS.
